At the end of 2025 I launched my side business Gold Charmer so I thought it was a time for a little re-introduction.

In 2018 I graduated in a degree which specialised in commercial stills and editing and landed my first graduate job straight into the luxury fashion world at Net a Porter.

I always knew I didn’t solely want to be working a 9-5 my whole life but also run my own business. For along as I can remember I have had an interest in collectibles and have always been on the look out for what are the weekly rarest treasures that have been the most bidded on eBay and Sothebys.

By 2023 I started to take the idea of beginning my own business more seriously. I dabbled in antique porcelain, paintings and eBay flipping. I was often waking up at 5am to go to carboot sales but it all felt like a chore.

In mid 2024 I saw and discovered what charms are for the first time when randomly coming across someones Instagram shop and knew immediately that this is what I wanted to start a business in and was ready to launch after 4 months.

After having sold over 100 charms so far ’m so glad I had discovered these little treasures and the community online that also has an interest in it.
